Okay, so my poor husband has been left out in the cold. I've yet to crochet a scarf for him so I finally bought the yarn to make him one. I hope you enjoy the pattern.
1- Ch 24, sc in 2nd chain from hook and each chain across (23 sc)
2- Ch2, dc same st and next 2 st, *ch1, sk1, dc next 3, repeat from * to end (18 dc and 5 ch sp)
[3- Ch 1, sc same st, ch2, sc in ch sp, ch3, sc in ch sp, ch3, sc in ch sp, ch3, sc in ch sp, ch3, sc in ch sp, ch2, sc last st (7 sc and 16 ch)
4- repeat row 3
5- repeat row 3
6- repeat row 2]
Repeat [brackets] 36 more times
Last row-Ch1, hdc same st and each st across (23 hdc) *Note hdc is correct, it gives the last row a ticket appearance tome closely match the starting chain with sc's in it.
